My home was built in 2012, 4 bedrooms, 3 bath 2600 sq. ft. 2 story. This home sleeps 8 with comfort. One bedroom with queen bed is located downstairs, with a nice size bath just steps away. This bathroom consist of a walk in shower only. The two other bedrooms (queen beds) upstairs share a full bath that consist of a walk in shower. The master bedroom with a king size bed, has full view of the lake, has a walk in shower and a garden tub. Off of the master bedroom, is a balcony, that you can enjoy your cup of coffee or just sit and read a book. The kitchen, dining and living are all open concept. The kitchen has stainless steel double oven, 5 burner gas stove, side by side refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and microwave with granite counter-tops through out. There is a Keurig coffee maker and all necessary appliances to make you feel as if you are at home. Step outside onto the patio with a beautiful fire pit for your use. You can sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the nice breeze with the fire keeping you warm. A dock is NOT on this property, but you can easily beach your boat on the sandy beach. A charcoal grill is provided. We also have cornhole boards, paddle board and inside games and DVD player with many movies. There is enough room for 4-6 cars in the driveway. 2 miles up the road you can launch your boat at Bug Beach, it is free and you can park your truck. You can also enjoy the Walk/Bike trails just 2 miles away. My property is in the central part of the peninsula; you can get to Hells Gate or to Bonitaville Restaurant within 20 minutes by boat. Beautiful three bedroom 1940's lake cottage on the west side of Possum Kingdom Lake! You can enjoy the views of the lake while swimming in the gorgeous pool or relaxing on the patio. This is a great family get away or a girls/guys weekend! **No dock on property. There are boat launches within a few miles of the property. **NO PETS ALLOWED ** We have security cameras on the outside of the house. While swimming in our large pool enjoy views of the lake! There's a big tanning ledge and bar stools on the opposite side in the shade. There is plenty of outdoor seating around the pool to lay in the sun. You can play a game of darts. Be sure you bring your own portable speaker to enjoy music by the pool! Gas grill on front porch & charcoal grill outback (charcoal is NOT provided). You have access to the main house. The garage is not accessible to guests. **All vehicles including boats, jet skis, etc must be parked in the driveway. No parking allowed on the grass. Our property manager is available in emergency situations and her information can be found in the binder in the dining room. The master bedroom has a king bed and TV. There is wall fire/heat unit to produce extra heat in the winter. There is a closet for storage. The master bath is connected with a shower. Bedroom 2 has a king bed. This bedroom opens to the living area. There are french doors that also lead into bedroom 3. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and views of the pool and lake. You will pass through bedroom 2 to access bedroom 3. The living area has plenty of seating with two sofas, two recliners and two leathers chairs with ottomans. Everyone has a place to sit! There is a TV with satellite channels and a fireplace. Outside the screened in porch has a fireplace and a table with chairs with darts. There are two restaurants nearby: Fox Hollow and Possum Hollow. Possum Hollow offers carry-out pizza. Both also offer boat slips that you can rent which is a good option since our property does not have a dock. You might need to book in advance. Possum Hollow has a convenient store for any last minute items you might have forgotten. If you would like to rent a boat those options are on the east side of the lake. *Please note that our pool service comes weekly on Wednesday and does their best to be finished by 4:00pm. The pool service must be completed weekly to ensure the pool is clean. This is non-negotiable. *Please keep in mind that this is an older home in a country setting. While we love our property and do our best to maintain it, occasionally insects make their way inside. We keep some spray under the sink in case it is needed. One for insects and one for wasps. *There are a few stair steps on all porches with no hand railing. There is also no hand railing in the pool.

This completely renovated home is so lovely with breath-taking views of Hell's Gate Basin and Possum Kingdom Lake.  Seriously, these are the best, most interesting views available on the lake.  Brand new swimming pool, hot tub and pavillion overlooking the lake are where you will want to spend your days and evenings.  This beautiful home sleeps 12 people in 3 bedrooms and a bunk room for 6.  Two large bathrooms plus an extra double sink vanity accommodate everyone nicely.  Pool bath in pavillion in available too. Brand new kitchen.  Free Wifi works inside and outside.  Each bedroom has a TV (not in the photos yet) and large TVs provide great viewing in the living room and in the pavillion. The fireplace in the pavillion is the best spot to gether around for fall/winter evenings and football watching.  Hot tub in pool is available to heat for $40/4-hour cycle.  (We don't profit from this - it is just the cost of the 4 gallons of propane per hour that the spa heater uses.)  We don't want to charge you if you aren't going to use it, so please select it in the optional fees as you book.
